Our Work

How We Create Change

Our work sits at the intersection of faith, mental wellness, culture, and community leadership. We focus on disrupting cycles of trauma by strengthening individuals, families, and the systems they interact with.

Our Core Areas

Community Healing & Wellness

We lead grief gatherings, offer trauma-informed workshops, and create peer support networks where people find safety, connection, and tools to rebuild.  (Programs: Hope & Healing, MOPH)

Youth Leadership & Prevention

We invest early—before systems fail young people. Leadership, life skills, and mentorship create pathways to purpose and possibility. (Program: Project Redirect)

Faith-Rooted Support

We partner with pastors, churches, and spiritual leaders to reduce stigma, offer trusted entry points for healing, and integrate meaningful rituals into wellness.

Advocacy & Systems Change

Our leaders—especially mothers impacted by violence—turn personal pain into public power through community education, truth-telling, and organizing.

Why Community-led Healing Works

  • Culturally grounded models improve mental health outcomes by up to 40%.
  • Faith institutions remain trusted messengers in communities harmed by medical and government systems.
  • Community-led trauma interventions produce an 82% positive change across mental health, empowerment, and resilience.
